The medieval centre is a 5-minute walk away from Villa Romantica Wellness & SPA. what a lovely place! the staff was incredible. they gave us cookies and drinks upon our arrival. beds were made. sofa bed was out. heater worked. great bathroom. walking distance from historic town of lucca.

They feature frescoes on the walls and some have wood beamed ceilings. The location within walking distance of the promenade around the walls and St. Frediano Basilica was appreciated. Convenient parking across from the hotel was a bonus. The excellent breakfast with quality breads, cheeses, and fruit topped it all off. Staff was very helpful--even called to return an item I left behind. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel.
