We also received a useful information about Lucca, including main attractions and places to eat, which we found very useful. This place is one of the best I ever stayed, highly recommended! Wonderful place, amazing comfortable bedroom. Very near the city center. Luca is an excellent host. Totally recommend. Couldn’t have stayed in a better place to start our Via Francigena.

The San Martino is near the Cathedral and at short distance from the most important buildings and historical churches. I think this was the best hotel we stayed in during our 20-day Italy trip. The hotel is so cute, very clean, staff were so nice and helpful! The room was beautiful, bathroom was great (two sinks)! Beds were comfortable too. We have nothing bad to say or any complaints. I'd definitely stay there again.
