But the home was warm and comfortable. The hosts were happy to go out of their way to make sure we had everything we meeded. It was super quiet, even on a Saturday night. Excellent restaurant close by that was recommended to us. Anything we needed was within 15min walk. Supermarket, restaurant, train.

Our stay at Vila Marchese was truly exceptional. The hosts and their family were incredibly welcoming & we felt like part of their family from day one. Breakfast was a daily highlight: freshly prepared with love, offering a variety of options that changed each day. They happily fulfilled any special requests. The villa itself is beautifully maintained and clean with a peaceful outdoor area and a lovely pool, perfect for relaxing and sun bathing, even after check-out. The small town is a hidden gem, authentic, charming, and home to a great local bar that is frequented by locals. The city is right by the river that flows into Lake Maggiore. Even without a car, the hosts made everything possible, even giving us a ride to Sesto Calende, the best-connected town nearby. The entire family is involved in running Villa, which adds a unique and heartfelt touch to the whole experience and Silvia’s hospitality made our stay unforgettable.

We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were of the highest quality we experienced in Northern Italy. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy Italian hospitality in an area of spectacular natural beauty. Grazie mille!
