In addition to the beautiful facilities that the house has to offer, the hosts also have a lot to offer. The owner is always in a good mood and is originally from the UK. He runs an English language school in his house and you can also book private lessons with him. There is also the option of an authentic British breakfast in the morning for a reasonable price. The house is perfect for a weekend getaway to escape the stresses of everyday life and relax. It is also the perfect option for a romantic weekend by the ocean.

Wonderful location (easily reachable by public transit), close to the beach, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, beautiful and simple decor. The most comfortable bed of our entire trip in Japan. It was warm enough during our stay in October to be able to have breakfasts and dinners outside, which made it feel like summer, only without the crowds. Japanese friends from Tokyo came down for dinner with me and each made a note to come back again for a stay. I never wanted to leave!

One of the highlights of my time in Japan. The host is incredible, an oustanding host and individual. The place has a nostalgic feel and is perfect for anyone wanting to escape the chaos of the big cities. Having said that, it may not be suitable for those looking for a more upscale place, but that is certainly reflected in the price. For an authentic and homely accomodation with an honest Japanese feel, this is the place. I will definitely be staying again next time I am in Japan, even if it requires a detour. The host is fascinating and very knowledgeable in the region. A large smile across my face as I did the recommendations of the host and discovered the local attractions.

It was very clean. Staff did remarkable job spending a lot of time cleaning every day. Had good quality hairdryers, cute toaster oven, free roasted coffee. - not instant, hot showers and laundry machine only ¥100.

Kudos to the Management and team of Tokyo Peninsula. We were considering staying at another property but we are most fortunate that we decided on the Tokyo Peninsula.
