The accommodation offers entertainment staff and a concierge service. We spent 2 nights at Royal Rock and had the best time! The staff took such good care of us from the moment we arrived, Suji, Jay and Sana especially, but everyone was so kind and helpful. They have a small van to easily drive you into town or to activities and to pick you up whenever you’re finished. Sana recommended several local activities and took us to beautiful photo spots. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the view of Lion Rock our bed was magical. There is a restaurant on site and the pool was refreshing after hiking up Lion Rock on a hot day. Seriously one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! 10/10

The property is non-smoking and is set 5.8 km from Pidurangala Rock. Location and accommodation was dreamy. A cabana in the jungle and a swimming pool in addition. Wonderful and nice owner who is very helpful. Dinner and breakfast was another highlight. I can only recommend staying there - it is on top only a 15 minute walk to Sigiriya rock.

So much love and calm you will find there within a truly authentic local experience. Highly recommend to stay there. We just stayed on night unfortunately but everything was truly amazing. Lovely host, communication, incredible breakfast and the room/house is in such a good calm nature area, still close to the city if you want to experience kandy.
