Prior to arrival he assured us that they could cater for one of our party who is vegan and also arranged a full-day safari for us. We had a large family room which was immaculate with great facilities. Each night, Roshan's wife cooks an incredible buffet for the guests, all freshly prepared with a huge choice. The food was amazing and Roshan and his family made our stay memorable.

Secluded, overlooking paddy fields. Delicious and authentic Sri Lankan food. Ranil and his team undertook one of the largest study of Sloth Bears so they know a thing or two when it came to the safari. We spent a day ticking off the most wonderful array of wildlife. We were here as a family and couldn’t be more happy.

I was doing an early morning safari at Wilpaththu the next day, and the resort made for a great stopover. My chalet was large, super clean, and they let me extend my check out time so I could have a shower after the safari. The packed breakfast was not gourmet food, but made for a welcome meal inside Sri Lanka's most beautiful game reserve.

The food was excellent, and the service was always warm and welcoming. The owner arranged a fantastic safari for us and even purchased the tickets online in advance, which saved us from waiting in a long queue at the park entrance (around 45 minutes). A special thanks goes to Raju, whose ever-present smile made our stay even more enjoyable.
