Christa is a warm and welcoming host. The waterhole in front of our room was great entertainment with all the animals that went there to drink. The game drive was a lot of fun. Peaceful and beautiful.

Located in the centre of Old Swakopmund, The Secret Garden Guesthouse offers simply decorated rooms overlooking the garden. It features a sun terrace. What a secret garden indeed. Great security and the rooms arranged around an internal courtyard were very well equipped and thought through. Our suite with terrace was a self catering apartment; very comfortable with a little lounge and kitchen. Inga was most helpful and booked us into a local restaurant for dinner. There were many lovely pieces of art reflecting her parents as gallery owners. Highly recommended for a stay in Swakopmund which deserved more than a night to explore. Our vehicle was also secure in a parking lot opposite the hotel. Location was great near to the centre but very quiet at night.

The breakfast was very good. However i stayed there for a week and had the same breakfast everyday. Maybe do a switch it up a bit. But I loved everything else.

This place was great. Clean, comfortable, roomy, & friendly. The hosts were particularly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful with staff that were pretty and sociable. They simply supply everything one would possibly need. All is equipped with love and attention to detail. Nice garden area with a super clean plunge pool. The hosts and staff (the gardener) are super friendly and assisting. Cute and well behaved doggie Simba around to greet all guests. If in Omaruru again, we will definitely stay at Knowhere.
