Augusto Cesar Sandino International Airport is 36 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We went in search of quiet and relaxation. We found it. The location is secluded and beautiful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and Daniel, the owner, was wonderful to talk to.

Situated in Masaya, 8.5 km from Mirador de Catarina, Madre Casa provides accommodation with a hot tub, a fitness room and an open-air bath. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The homestay features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It was great, even so my Spanish ain’t great the host was super friendly and like to talk and help wherever he could. The house is amazing, it’s a family house, spacious and you feel like being a friend at someone’s home and not stranger in a hotel!

La Casa de Leo - Hostal, Restaurante y Artesania local is located in San Juan de Oriente, 1.9 km from Mirador de Catarina and 14 km from Volcan Mombacho. The hostel has a terrace and mountain views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Breakfasts made by Yanet were excellent and different each day with fruits, eggs, rice and beans (gallo pinto) and coffee. The core family (Hébert, Yanet and their son Lester) with whom I dealt with everyday are truly genuine people, they have helped me 200% with research on land/houses in that area (my goal when I visited Nicaragua), We had excellent conversations, like I never had in other Latin countries, all in all if you want to understand this amazing country more and you speak Spanish, you will learn a lot. Also, members of the family are master potters, they have a small studio downstairs where you can buy their work and also, very recently, take a ceramics course on site. Don't forget to ask them who is 'Leo'

Featuring pool views, La Table de Apoyo offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar, around 9 km from Mirador de Catarina. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The accommodation provides free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a family-friendly restaurant. We had a great stay. Eventhough we arrived much later than expected, we were very warmly welcomed. Unfortunately we could only spend one night, next time we need to plan differently!

The breakfast was outstanding, one of the best yet we have experienced. The staff and host superb, so helpful. Simply the BEST!

Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the lake and garden. Casa Bella is by far one of my favourite get-aways in the whole world! Ive been there twice, and cant wait to be back!! Bella is a great host and the whole place is an incredible experience. The furniture, the paintings, the whole vibe makes you feel immersed in a dream. Everything is beautiful and extra comfortable, lots of areas to hang out, great wifi, fully equipped kitchen, and an amazing bed. Private and quiet beach with super cool chairs and tanning beds under the trees. They were so kind to my two dogs too!! Really, I couldn't recommend it enough!! Definitely stay at Casa Bella if you are ever in Laguna de Apoyo. Thank you Bella and staff and see you soon!!

Hostel Casa María is set in Masaya, 11 km from Mirador de Catarina, 13 km from Volcan Masaya, and 24 km from Volcan Mombacho. Housed in a building dating from 2005, this apartment is 30 km from the Old Cathedral of Managua. This pet-friendly apartment also has free WiFi. Absolutely wonderful ! Hosts are amazing and took great care of us :) You get a really spacious acommodation with bedroom, living room and balcony . We felt very welcome in the area, people are friendly and Masaya is a very nice town where to stay for a couple of days while You are visiting volcanos and the lakes! Recomend !

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The apartment has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Very nice apartment. Close to Plaza but quiet. Friendly hosts. Well-equipped kitchen.
