You get the sunrise over a green field on one side, and the sunset over the Zaans river on the other, just a few meters from the windows. Sharon is a very nice and easygoing host. She tespobded quickly to our watsups even on Sunday, and serves a very large breakfast. There are several restaurants and coffee shops nearby, and a SPAR supermarket. The train station is about 12-15 minuts easy walk away, where you can take the Sprintet train into Amsterdam (or stop at Zaandam). You can also take the 391 bus from the meauseum. This mat nit be for younge people seeking an urban stay, but for a couple like us it was perfect. Ditting in the garden wuth a bottle of wine just looking at the sunset colors over the river...Loved it!

The complimentary chocolates and drinks from the host were a thoughtful touch and made our rainy day so much nicer.
