We initially planned on staying for 5 nights, and we ended up extending another 5 nights because we liked it so much. Great secure parking in a small suburb to the cbd with everything you might need. There's a mall 5 minute drive from there with movies, supermarkets, and more. The staff were AMAZING. Everyone we met was extremely nice and helpful. The room is big and spacious, and the kitchen was everything we could want. I'm really so happy we found this place. The value for money was incredible.

We loved our stay at Matakana Luxury, it is the perfect romantic getaway! It was so easy to get to from Auckland and is the most perfect location in the heart of Matakana Village. We wanted to explore the area and it was only 5 mins to Omaha Beach and 15 to Tawharanui regional park. The gorgeous outdoor baths and comfy beds were an amazing bonus! Thanks to the hosts for accommodating the best anniversary weekend ever!

There was a relatively short bush walk down to the beach. The bush was filled with birds including a kākā and some parakeets. It is also on the way out to Tāwharanui where we brought our red lights and encountered kiwi almost right away at night.
