The bed was extremely comfortable with beautiful and soft linens. Everything we needed was there, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, towels for makeup removal, towels for showers and for the beach. Although we did not use the robes they were provided. This place is right in town and easy access to shops, breakfast, dinner and the Matakana Saturday Market which was a lot of fun! Wonderful A+ Host.

The whole family absolutely loved staying with John, the suite was perfect in size (huge bath room!), our host super friendly and supportive, and the breakfast absolutely amazing. Christine met me on arrival and showed me around and gave me excellent suggestions of what to see in the area. I only had an overnight stop but there was everything available that I needed in a lovely quiet setting. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the back deck where you could view the visiting wildlife and the bush walk down to the beach was handy.

It was incredibly beautiful at Pacific Ocean Breezes, I really enjoyed my stay. You could park right in front of the entrance, and everything was as described. Nice and spacious and beautifully furnished, truly exquisite. There were many different types of tea, coffee, milk and lots of snacks – wonderful. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook, but there is also a barbecue. I particularly enjoyed the heated whirlpool, it's absolutely fantastic. The perfect base for exploring Shakespeare Regional Park and close to Auckland. The host, Sue, is incredibly nice and helpful. I greatly appreciated this hospitality. I only wish I could have stayed longer and can highly recommend this accommodation to everyone.
