Situated on a working farm, Smiths Farm Holiday Park offers accommodation surrounded by rolling hills and rural gardens. Guests can enjoy feeding and petting the friendly farm animals, which include sheep, cows, pigs and goats. We received a warm welcome from the owner, with some muffins, instructions for the walk to the glowworms and food for the animals. We had a great stay and highly recommend this place.

The motel is centrally located, a 2-minute drive or an easy walk to the town centre, supermarket, cafés and restaurants, stadium, gyms, pool, information centre, railway station and riverside walk. In addition, Marlborough's many fabulous wineries and walking and bike trails are only a short drive away. It is also a 15 minute drive to the airport and a 25-minute drive to the Picton ferry terminal. Our stay was great. Simon the manager was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying at the Colonial Motel Blenheim.

The lounge areas are complete with comfortable lounge chairs and coffee tables. The beds are either King-size or King-single. Eco-friendly body care products are supplied. Guests have access to laundry and BBQ facilities. We pride ourselves on our recycling systems. This motel has been the best during our trip through NewZealand. Very clean, cosy rooms and very helpfull owners.

Excellent kitchen, TV (if you can ignore your surroundings), very comfortable bed, great bathroom. Alexa can open and close blinds, and manage lighting and music. My husband declared he would not leave until the cleaners arrived or we needed to walk to the train.
