It was a little difficult to find even with the map I brought with me. Should have spent one fewer day in Rotorua, and a second day in Taupo.

Anyway, an unforgettable night at Tamahere for my graduation day!

The accommodation offers luggage storage space and private check-in and check-out for guests. Location was excellent & we had the best night's sleep. Hosts were very welcoming.

A place in the Paddock is a lovely space on a farm just outside of Matamata- there is a small museum on property- the space is clean, quiet and just lovely!

Cold water, milk, cereals, DVDs, fresh vegetables picked from the garden, magazines, countless pillows and blankets, a bed warmer, shampoo, conditioner, windows to open with insect screens. Even gluten free bread on request. We couldn't have been happier and the kids loved feeding the cow with carrots. I was fascinated that treadmills for horses exist!
