From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. I never drived before in the desert but with the information from him i dit it & it was also fun. The send you a place where you can defleate your tyres for 1 OMR. The hospitality of the team was outstanding—everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. They truly made us feel at home in the heart of the desert. The camp itself was beautifully set up, offering both comfort and an authentic desert experience. You have also a own bathroom, was i find its amazing. The stunning sand dunes, breathtaking sunsets, and peaceful atmosphere made this trip magical. Whether it was enjoying traditional food (they had also a lot of vegetarian option), sitting by the campfire under the stars, or experiencing exciting desert activities, every moment was very beautiful.

It really felt like an authentic stay in the desert, we traveled the world a lot and that was one of the most special places. Everyone at the camp was really nice. The tents are clean and comfortable. Private little bathroom attached. Food was very good. Also did the dune bashing tour for sunset which was amazing. Absolutely recommend if you want an authentic desert experience, dont expect luxury or special amenities, but still very clean and comfortable tents.

I stayed at the desert camp for one night on my own, and it was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The camp itself was beautifully set up – very clean, peaceful, and with a truly magical atmosphere under the stars. What made the experience even more special was the amazing driver and guide, Ali. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire stay. His passion for the desert and local culture really came through, and he made sure everything was perfect. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely – just completely relaxed and in awe of the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert experience! And the food was really nice too.

Muscat International Airport is 207 km away. We really enjoyed our experience staying in the desert. We had beautiful sunset and sunrise. We booked the dinner and breakfast which was delicious. Badr was great, he picked us up from the carpark and dropped us off to our car the next day. On the way he showed us the camels and a Bedouin camp nearby. Him and the other staff also spend time with everyone around the bonfire telling us stories about life in the desert and singing songs. The tents and bathrooms are basic but the bed is comfortable and it feels like an authentic experience. We would visit again and would like to express our gratitude to Badr for making this a great experience for us.

The food is great, the fireplace in the evening is cosy, the private pool is clean and the whole environment is like in a boutique hotel. The staff book the SUV for you to watch the sunset in the desert - the service is top on. We’ve stayed with 2 little children and everything seemed enjoyable. P.S. Don’t get scammed by the drivers who are hunting the tourists offering their services - the Alsaif camp has built the perfect road, the supervisor provides you the detailed instructions, so you won’t get lost.

Food was great and everyone was very hospitable. Everything was prepared for our comfort . The location is great,we saw goats and camels walking in the desert and enjoyed silence and peace.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Hamad and Hassan were very funny and sweet. We had a lovely time by the fire. Hassan cooked great food for dinner and breakfast. Good value compared with some other places considering dinner and breakfast is included. Room is very comfy, we slept great. Good location, feels very cosy. Hamad is Bedouin and he has some beautiful artefacts to show you and talk about. Make sure you bring cash to pay.
