We unfortunately had to cut our stay short due to SKY Air cancelling / changing our flight and we’re really disappointed we couldn’t spend more time here! Casa Kukama is a special place well worth the visit. We loved the room, having a swim I. The lagoon and the local neighbourhood is friendly and with great fresh fish and juane cooked up on the street in the evening. Thanks 🙏

Amazon Dream Hostel is a perfect base for exploring Iquitos. The owners are very kind and helpful, assisting with travel planning and bookings. My room had a large window with a beautiful view over a river arm, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is convenient, and the atmosphere is relaxed. A great choice for a simple, well-run hostel!

A jungle paradise just outside of busy Iquitos. The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

The staff were very knowledgeable about the different species of animals. I really enjoyed feeding the bully monkeys that came down to the boat we were on. A great experience thru the Rainforest during high season.

Situé à Mazán, l’établissement Amazon tucuxi possède un bar. Il dispose d'un service d'étage et d’un restaurant. L’établissement comprend une réception ouverte 24h/24. We spent four days with Liseth and her husband, Will. They helped us with our arrival and picked us up from Monkey Island with their boat. The food was delicious and healthy, made entirely from natural ingredients sourced locally and from their garden. Water, tea, and coffee were freely available. Everything was very clean and well-protected with mosquito nets. In the evenings, we could charge our devices. We also went on various jungle tours, tried fishing, spotted dolphins, petted monkeys and sloths, and chatted with the locals. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcomed us with open arms. There were very few tourists, making the experience truly authentic. My sister is a vegetarian, and her dietary needs were thoughtfully accommodated. We had so much fun, and our guide Asuco is an absolute expert in flora and fauna—highly recommended! You can even try hunting your own frog and doing Kambo if you like. For anyone seeking an authentic Amazon experience, Liseth and Will are the best choice. I also found the accommodation very affordable. Meals are included in the tours, and you don’t really have to worry about anything. Just let them know what you’d like to see and do. We’ll be back! Thank you, Liseth and Will. See you soon!

L’établissement Eywa Lodge Amazonas - All inclusive vous accueille à Yucuruche et propose un bar. We spent 4 nights and 5 days at Eywa lodge and we had a fantastic time. From the moment Freddy met us at our Iquitos hotel until we said our heartfelt goodbyes at the lodge and in Iquitos we were treated with respect and as friends. We were never patronized. The entire team became our friends as well as guides and supporters. Our stay at the lodge, in the forest, on the river was dreamlike. My expectations of giant anacondas, growling jaguars, and man-eating spiders were soon forgotten, replaced with endless green forest, magnificent wild rivers, countless birds, and jewel-like starry night sky’s. Particulars: prepare for rain(panchos). Expect mosquitos, they weren’t bad for us.  We used deet and piccardin and both were effective unless you are known to attract mosquitos, if so, douse outer wear with permethrin. Light weight long sleeve shirts and pants. Good walking shoes, hat, headlamp, and walking stick. Meals were delicious, varied and used local produce and were presented with style. Wifi at lodge was quite good. And the lounge/bar serve a mean pisco sour.

From delicious breakfast ( Ben makes the best pancakes in the world) to beautiful cabaña and interesting conversations, everything was perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need, and you can prepare meals for yourself. I can truly recommend going for a walk in the night in search of frogs and other beautiful creatures. You can also enjoy cute monkeys! Great place to relax with the sounds of nature, but if you need to do some work, there is super good internet. This place was a real gem of our trip! Thank you

Situé à Iquitos et offrant une vue sur le jardin, l’établissement Guacamayo Azul possède une piscine extérieure, un jardin, un salon commun et une terrasse. I’ve stayed one week in the wonderful Guacamayo Azul integrating my journeys in the jungle, and seriously, I have no words how amazing this place is! The house is luxurious, huge comfortable main bedroom, fully equipped kitchen where I felt I could cook as if I was back home. The pool is another sort of privilege; calm and safe location, comparing to the rest of Iquitos. Julio, the housekeeper, would help me with absolutely everything I needed - driving me to do buy groceries, help around the house, even accompanying me to explore the local area’s gems so I don’t feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. A special thanks to him! The house is massive and would fit a company up to 8 people, but also it’s an incredible stay for a solo person, who seeks quietness and solitude, like in my case. I truly appreciate my time in Guacamayo Azul, and it only leaves me to wonder why it’s not yet fully booked. I wish you that!
