We were so relaxed watching the sunset cuddled up with a blanket. We were provided with the most incredible food - especially the fried trout and soup Judith prepared. Josue took us on a tour around Uros and also took my partner fishing!!! It was just so great. We didn’t want to leave. We also jumped in the lake which was beautiful and clear. A unique and special stay we will remember forever.

Richar, Lucrezia and Isabella are very lovely people and very generous hosts. Richar told us about the island and showed us around, Lucrezia’s cooking is truly wonderful and Isabella is a very nice girl, who would play cards with us in the evening. The rooms are very clean, there is a hot shower and it’s an easy walk from the port of Amantani. The island itself is so peaceful and tranquil, a perfect rest. At night the stars are magestic with Milky Way visible with naked eye. I would highly recommend staying at Richar’s place to experience the magic of the island in its authenticity. Also, from what I’ve read it is much better for the families who live on the island to book a stay directly with them rather than through an agency.

We enjoyed everything, Wilson & Elisabeth, their children + puppy were so lovely. Food was delicious & nutritious. Bed was super comfortable with lots of blankets, hot water bottles + a heater (didn't need it) to keep us warm.

Inca Manco Cápac International Airport is 48 km away. Mama Lea, Papa Mario and their son Ivan are super friendly. The experience of sleeping on a small Uro island is unique and recommendable. Mama Lea is a very good cook! We had great meals. Transfer round trip is offered for 80 soles which is fair since it's around 30 minutes per way.

A patio with lake views is offered in each unit. the local family were so kind. they brought us food to the room while there was raining outside. the heating equipment was good, the bottle of warm water remained warm during almost all night. the lake view is great from the room. the experience was very unique!

The property is 7 km from the city centre, and right in front of Titicaca lake. Amazing family, lodges are a bit farther into the Uros Islands so it’s very peaceful and beautiful. Good home cooked meals. Beautiful, colorful and spacious lodge.

A balcony with sea views is offered in each unit. Delightful family. Henry and Mariluz were so welcoming. She made fresh food for breakfast and asked us so made lunch ( including a picnic) and dinner. Henry walked us up to Pachamama and introduced to plants to help with altitude. Great sunset from here. Mariluz showed us her weaving and knitting skills. The west side of the island where they were was tranquil. A map was shared so we could walk around the island the next day and also walk up Pachatata.

Rates at this all-inclusive property include breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had a wonderful stay at the Uros Samaraña Uta Lodge. The family that hosts has lived on Uros island for generations and were a great resource to learn about the culture and history of the islands. We were well fed with 3 big meals a day and plenty of drinking water. Cesar, the main host, was very aware of our needs and made us feel well taken care of. It felt like a true homestay experience - not luxurious but very authentic. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
