We almost dared to step into the pool, but will definitely do it on our next visit!!

We also enjoyed the wineyard at the bottom of the hotel and that we were allowed to walk around at any time. The place is very calm and quiet, perfect for a escape from the city hustle and bustle. Mr Jose was also of extreme kindness setting us up with a lovely boat tour through Douro on my bday. We had just asked where we could arrange for the tour and he went all the way calling the person and helping us organize. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff was really attentive. We highly recommend a stay with them!

The apartment is in walkable distance to the sights of Averio and many restaurants and cafes. Parking in the nearby street is close and free. The apartment is clean and very comfy, it's a shame we were only here for 1 day.

The location is in a beautiful peaceful area away from the crowds but with attractions within easy reach. We enjoyed all of the outdoor spaces and used the washing machine and kitchen to feel at home while traveling. Wonderful host!
