Close to restaurants and grocery store. My wife and I stayed here during our Camino and it is right on the route. Great value for the price.

The accommodation offers evening entertainment and a shared kitchen. Staying in Sandra's place was just amazing! Her place just makes you feel at home from the moment you enter her house. On the first floor, you have a cosy living room plus a kitchen where you can have breakfast in the morning. Outside you have a garden with a swimming pool and bbq (but it was raining, unfortunately). And the highlight was the cute dog Spot, which makes this place even more like home. Accommodation is very clean and beds comfortable (sheets and blankets provided). Sandra is lovely, caring and super nice! So on your Camino, don't miss this Spot :). Sandra, thank you and all the best!

The location is amazing, the staff is warm and welcoming, the gardens are well maintained and pretty. The hotel is pet friendly and our dog really enjoyed it too.

Each of the individually decorated rooms are located in what used to be cloisters. All rooms of Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes offer an en suite bathroom.

We were looking for a hotel to celebrate our first anniversary, and it was important for us to find a pet-friendly place. We came across this hotel and immediately loved how it looked in the photos. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised — everything was even more beautiful, stylish, and authentic than we had imagined. We were so impressed by the quality: the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, the bed linens were luxurious, everything felt like a true five-star experience. The towels were large and fluffy, and there were cozy blankets thoughtfully placed for guests to wrap themselves up while enjoying the balcony. They even provided sun hats for strolls through the vineyards — such attention to detail made everything feel so special. Waking up to the sound of birds singing in the morning was pure magic. It brought back nostalgic memories of childhood visits to our grandmother’s house in the countryside — so peaceful and heartwarming. One of the highlights of our stay was the authentic family dining room. Leonor shared a bit of its history with us, showing us portraits of her grandparents who once owned this quinta. It felt like such an honor to have breakfast in that room, gathered around one big table with other guests, like one big family — it was truly a unique and lovely experience. We left feeling completely recharged, having explored the beautiful surrounding areas as well. Leonor even sent us a thoughtfully prepared PDF with recommendations for sightseeing, lunch, dinner, and some local history, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We are incredibly grateful for this experience — it was everything we hoped for and more!
