We loved our stay at Hisa Posebne Sorte! The dinner was delicious, staff very friendly, and gave us a great recommendation for a winery to visit. They also helped us find a wonderful e-bike rental so we could spend the day biking around the valley. It has a very small town feel to it, in the best way, and the hospitality was superb. It’s in a great location for cycling, hiking, vineyards, and visiting the caves. They were very eco-friendly, which my wife and I really appreciated.

I used WhatsApp to communicate with the host and they were welcoming and kind. The free parking and ability to view the beautiful city from the terrace and then walk up in 10min was perfect!

HOTEL StDaniel features a restaurant, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a bar and shared lounge in Štanjel. The property offers car hire and features a garden and terrace. Staff were excellent, as was the food. We really felt at home here and felt relaxed after our stay

The host Meta did welcome us at arrival and showed us the renovated apartment in the authentic building close to Stanjel (1km). The location was perfect for us to enjoy the nice house/ building/ garden. The owners fully renovated the old house from 1835 into something special, into today’s requirements while keeping the authenticity of the building, rooms and apartments. The environment is lovely and gives plenty of opportunity of sightseeing (we did a lot by bicycles) to enjoy nature and the old villages in between the lovely wineries. In Stanjel, you can find a very nice loungebar, restaurant to enjoy lunch and/ or dinner in a beautiful setting! Quality of service and food is very good!
