It was a cute and very comfortable place. My kids and niece loved the fairytale themed village, especially our tree house and a Jacuzzi on top of a little Castle next to us!:) The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well equipped and clean our little cottage was. There was everything we needed and more! The little village was close to everything and only a 15 minutes drive to "Orava Castle" - a must see. 😉 We walked 5 minutes to a small "Callo" ice cream shop and had the best ice cream ever! The kids loved visiting a peacock and bunny farm that was also walking distance.There are a lot of walking /biking trails with neat bridges going across the river right behind the property. I strongly recommend this place to all families!

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed—it felt less like checking into a guesthouse and more like being invited into someone’s home. The hosts went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and they generously shared lots of great advice on where to go and what to see in Slovakia. Thanks to their tips, I discovered places I probably wouldn’t have found on my own. The room was cozy and clean, the location peaceful, and the whole experience felt personal and relaxed. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and friendly place to stay.

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, Guest House Kovalik is situated in Suchá Hora, 14 km from Zakopane. All rooms come with a TV. All rooms include a private bathroom equipped with a shower. It was very warm, kids were sorry not to take shorts. Good location, the desired ski center was still not open, thus we explored different ski centers in the vicinity. Kitchens on both floors. There was not that many people staying at the same time, thus we could use all facilities: parking, kitchen, pool (game), sitting room.
