It is in the middle of nature, with wonderful views and full of cute dogs. The place was very quiet, and we slept nicely. The location is also perfect, close to many nice beaches and waterfalls. The people in the hotel were fantastic! The receptionist was a sweetheart, and the management people were kind. The last day we went to take the ferry and we forgot our portable charger at the reception and the guys drove to the port to take the charger to us . We really appreciated this and we are very grateful . 🙏 Another thing I really appreciated was the sustainability practices they adopt at the hotel . They have free filtered water all over the hotel and they provide water bottles to their guests. This is the first time I have seen something like that in a hotel in Thailand and I really appreciate these actions, especially on the islands as we have seen a lot of plastic thrown around.

Offering a garden and garden view, Hostel Ko Kut เที่ยว&นอน is situated in Ko Kood, 1.1 km from Klong Chao Beach and 1.2 km from Ao Noi Beach. We originally booked just two nights because we were a bit unsure – mainly due to the limited number of reviews and the fact that it’s called a “hostel.” But we ended up extending our stay by another four nights and had a wonderful time! The few reviews are simply because the place only opened last year. The term “hostel” is actually a bit misleading – there are just three private single rooms (with shared bathrooms), so it’s much quieter and more private than you might expect. The host also plans to build a shared dorm on the other side of the building in the future. One of the best things is the price – it’s very affordable compared to most other places on Koh Kood. Despite the low cost, everything was always clean, especially the bathroom. The host was super friendly and always responded quickly to messages. There’s a fridge and a small kitchenette with dishes downstairs in the shared area. Each room has a shelf for your stuff and a fan, and the doors are fitted with extra insect screens. (If you’re sensitive to bugs, you might want to bring a mosquito net – there’s room to hang one over the bed.) We had one of the two rooms upstairs and loved the terrace – it was perfect for hanging our hammock and gym rings, and we had plenty of space to dry clothes. Every evening, a few tokay geckos would show up, which – as you might know – are considered good luck in Thailand! The location is also great – relatively quiet, with a few restaurants, small shops, a laundry, and a pharmacy all nearby. Ao Taphao Beach is just 1.5 km away, and the whole island is easy to explore by scooter, which you can rent directly from the host at a fair price. In short: this is a budget-friendly place that delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for more luxury, you’ll probably need to spend a bit more. But for what it is, we thought it was great – and we really don’t understand the negative reviews!

I have come to this island for years and Veha always found me accommodations. When I learned he started a tent camp I knew I had to stay here, even though I had a place for a couple months. 555. He is responsible for me coming every year. He is the "island man". for me. He recommends everything. He's honest and can tell you what is vacant (even if it is not his place), he can rent you a motorbike or boat trip or recommend the AMAZING restaurant on the property. The campground is literally so close to the beach and he speaks so highly of the restaurant I had to try it. I had never been. SO GOOD! I love waking up in the morning and hearing the birds. Now is a nice time because it is "winter", which is like my summer. 555. I love the comfortable mattresses and the fans. It's literally perfect (Dec-Feb). I cannot say for other months, but I love this and we will stay again in a tent soon if it becomes available. Forget "glamping" - this is legit camping with everything one would need. He can also hire any driver/boats/etc you may need. I am so happy. I will definitely be back as long as Veha is my host. That you for making my stay so wonderful.
