Rhonda could not have been nicer and made everything so easy and painless. Rhonda organised a lovely surprise birthday message on the bed with dried petals for my 40th and also upgraded our room to a Sea View option as it was vacant. And my what a view that was! Absolutely stunning. The outdoor space and facilities that came with the room were super impressive. Loved the apartment itself - very comfortable bed and what a bathroom! There is also a lovely path/ hike down to a secret little deserted beach from directly outside the property. This was a lovely start to our day one morning. If I was back in Castara, I would 100% stay in Castara Inn again as my first choice. I get that it is a bit further of a walk up a very steep hill! But we rented a car (through Taylor's rental) while in Castara, and this made getting around A LOT easier. I would go with the car and Castara Inn option over staying down the road in other more expensive places just down the hill.

The location is so calm & beautiful. The owner gave us a free upgrade from an apartment to a small house because the hotel was so empty. One night we wanted to bake a pizza but we didn’t have any oven, so we sent him a message over WhatsApp; five minutes later he was at our door with a portable oven, WOW!!

Located overlooking beautiful Castara Bay, Castara Retreats is a family-run eco resort offering self-catering accommodations set in 2 acres of tropical gardens. Castara Retreats was the most amazing place. Our views from the Coasthanger were spectacular. We loved every moment of our stay and it ticked all the boxes we look for in a holiday. We would return in a heart beat. Thank you Porridge, Jeanell, and your team for the most wonderful time!
