The people at reception didn’t speak English but they were very nice and offered to do our laundry at a good price when they saw us carrying it in to town.

I was using crutches at the time, and was having trouble going up the stairs, so they help my carry my things upstairs and help me get up there, then they told me to just stay at this floor and they would bring me food so I didn’t have to use the stairs an unnecessary amount of time. Absolutely amazing. Be aware of roaming, sweet and cuddly cats ;)

Situé à Ha Giang, l’établissement HagiangGo Hostel-Motorbikes rental and Tour possède un jardin, une terrasse, un restaurant et un bar. super helpful stuff. they rented us the scooter and explained very well how we should drive the loop. and where to stop. definitely recommend them if you want to do the loop. and organize everything with them. they ask for int. driving license, but we think police is checking at least at beginning of loop very frequently self driving tourists. make sure you bring the 1968 one. they also organized bus for arrival and departure at very good prize.

The staff are lovely, the food is authentic local Vietnamese, and the place is spotless. The Palm is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. Sure, it’s a bit out of town, but that's a good thing, as Ha Giang City isn’t why you make the journey. It’s for the views and the escape! My wife and two children stayed five nights.

Very welcoming hosting family, from the daughters to the grandma! The family dinner was always very tasty, we stayed a total of 3 nights there and always had delicious food. The small rooms are enough for a good sleep and the mattress was among the most comfortable we slept on in Vietnam, We also rent bikes from them to do the Ha Giang loop and she organised our bus towards Cao Bang.
