Quiet nights sleep but only a 5 minute walk into the old town. Helen the manager was so lovely and very helpful. Arrived early in the morning and gave us a fold out bed to sleep in whilst we waited for our room. Some of the best service I’ve received at any hotel. Would recommend to anyone staying in hoi a for short or long stay.

Didn’t check out the casino but looks great too. We also stayed in Grand Sheraton Danang but liked New World Hoiana much more.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Ly and her lovely family are running this Homestay very well. We felt comfortable and welcome and enjoyed our stay a lot and even extended our stay from one night to two nights which I would recommend as a minimum to enjoy the spirit of the island. Ly has helped us a lot with travel arrangements (rebooking boat tickets and moto taxi ride back to pier by her husband) and arranged for a snorkeling trip with her uncle fisherman on a bamboo boat to a place with lots of corral. With my son we also enjoyed night fishing the traditional way from bamboo boat for which Ly's husband has taken us. Also the food and drinks were excellent here and very reasonable prices. We had a grilled fish (which was caught by her husband) and it was just great. The location is a small fisherman village some 5 km from the pier / center which we wanted and enjoyed a lot for quite spirit. Easy to explore the island and other beaches on a motorbike which we rented on the pier upon arrival. Recommend to bring some shoes for swimming and own snorkeling equipment to use on the beach in front of the homestay.
