I picked this place as a stopover for the night during my bike trip through the Belgian Ardennes - and honestly, it was the best decision ever! It’s a real magnet for passionate people - and not just cyclists. The cozy terrace with a bar counter is just perfect for long chats and heated debates about anything and everything (especially after a few local beers). Dear Hans and Alexey, I have to say it - I’m totally in love with you guys! You’re amazing hosts and truly make the world a better place. This spot is a perfect base for exploring the Ardennes, whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with the whole family.

It’s a great alternative to escape Brussels for a few days and be in calm environments surrounded by nature. The tents are clean and comfy, the food at the restaurant was more than delicious, it was an experience. We were that last day of the summer and had the hotel basically only for us! Lovely stay in the countryside. Very quiet location. Comfortable bed. Well equipped bathroom next to the sleepingroom. A cheminee is available for cooler days. Well equipped kitchen. Nice little terrace to enjoy the sun. Friendly hosts. You have to bring your own towels and bedcover. We enjoyed our stay. Next to it the ruins of Chateau d'Ambleve. Lovely place with wild flowers.
