Villa Mucellena is a must if you want to visit Tuscany. We stayed there for three nights on our road trip through Italy and we were so amazed by the experience that we came back at the end of our trip to spend there our last three nights. Viola is the best host you can imagine. She is friendly, responsive and always happy to give us some good local recommendations. If you go there, definitely do not miss out on booking a dinner, if she makes one. Even better than most of the restaurants we visited. She also offers a cooking class where we learned how we could take a small piece of Tuscany with us back home. Truly a great experience we will surely make again next year!

The location was like in a fairy tale. Cute stone house, beautifully landscaped surroundings, peace, you could hear the birds singing, ... A good starting point for short trips to nature or sightseeing. The host was very friendly and helpful. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer and try out jacuzzi ;)

This is part of what makes it great, set in the Tuscan hillside with beautiful landscapes all sides the hotel affords the just under 40 rooms guest a tranquil relaxing place to stay. Perfect location, beautiful surroundings, very quiet. Nice pool where you can relax after visiting the amazing towns around. Kind owners that welcome you every morning with tasty breakfast. We really enjoyed staying at Nerbona,the appartment was great,has no AC but since the house is made of stones it is cool inside,the welcome basket had everything for the start (vinegar,oil, salt,sugar,milk,juice,marmelade, water,...),the swimming pool is really big and the property is beautiful. It is close to San Gimignano and Volterra,which I think are the MUST to see.I have nothing to complain.The girls at the reception are kind and they advise you what to see and do in Tuscany. You can rent bikes,play table tennis,they have toys for the kids,...If you are thinking about visiting Tuscany,don't hesitate and just make the reservation here.You will have the best time.
