You stay in the middle of nothing, silence and calm. Great view of the valley. But there are restaurants close (500 meters/1 km). Good place to use as a base to go around. Will go back!

Another important fact was the majestic view every single morning waking up seeing the Gran Sasso snow capped mountains in a not too far distance, from our room, was making the experience even more magical!
