The location was superb, one of the best areas of Ksamil, only 5 min to the best restaurants and bars and we didnt need to use the car. The staff was very friendly and always helpful, room was spacious and comfortable, everything was clean , we stayed there for 2 nights but we wished we had booked sooner and more days since it was really worth it.

The owner of the hotel was just amazing. So frendly and nice, it almost felt like we are old friends. The room was cleaned every day, but I am tlaking next level: every day clean towels, bed nicely done and they even put teddies from our kids on the top of it. The little things they have done, were the ones that made us feel like they put a lot of effort in the work. The food was always freshly made, from veggies to fresh fruit...everyone found something for their taste. We just fell in love with that hotel, and for sure if we come back to Ksamil, we will come again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Duka’s hotel. The personal was really lovely and welcoming. Our room had a big balcony with a hot tub and an amazing view to the city. The bed was very good - I haven’t slept this good in a long time. The location of the hotel is also really good - everything you need is in a walking distance. We absolutely loved the breakfast - so many great options to choose from.

    The view...let's start with the view 😍 a real gem! We found the hotel easily. Indoor free parking, nice clean rooms. The restaurant is on a terrace overlooking the beach, which is two steps away. The food is superb - Stella is a masterchef - fresh, delicious seafood. The hosts are cordial and hospitable. We will definitely be back. Thank you for letting us touch the beauty of Albania in this warm way ❤️

    Beautiful hotel, the name says it all. Very modern and comfortable rooms. The beds were very comfortable too. The staff was incredibly helpful, arranging all our requests. They even arranged a taxi for us when we already left the hotel and were stuck somewhere in Ksamil. Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Ksamil. The location was great, 3 min walk to the most popular beach in Ksamil.

    The staff and owner are really taking care about the hygiene of the whole hotel. They even clean the beach when waves bring the sea grass. I was amazed that they pull all of the grass out of the sea in this litlle beautifol bay. Great work guys RESPECT.

    Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of...

    Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of the town at least seems to have opted to cater for those who prefer loud music / water activities on the beaches. That said, there is a good selection of bars & restaurants both in the centre of the town and on the main road into it. The hotel in which we stayed (Area Hotel) was excellent. Public transport is ok - there is a bus every 30 mins to Sarande or Butrint BUT it is packed & an experience in itself! Fares are 150 Lek (1.5 euro) each way. Taxis are available but cost approx 30 euro each way. Although card payment is accepted in most restaurants / hotels etc, it seems as though cash is king in Albania. Local currency (Lek) can be accessed once you're in the country by changing euro at one of the many exchanges.

    Ksamil is a very beautiful resort with numerous stunning beaches and crystal-clear azure waters. There are plenty of quality restaurants offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The only drawback is that almost all beach spots are paid, meaning you need to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. The cheapest spots started at around €15 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, while more premium locations charged €30 to €40 per set. Luxury cabana-style spots could cost up to €70 per day. Almost everywhere accepted euros, so it was not necessary to exchange money into the local currency. Alternatively, you could pay in euros and receive change in the local currency (Albanian lek). On average, €1 was equivalent to about 95–96 lek.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean. Renting sunbeds/umbrellas can be quite pricy. If you go in the afternoon they would charge you the same price on some beaches. Driving in Ksamil can be quite hectic. The streets are quite narrow and not all the streets have pavements and on streets where they are present either they are taken up by shops or else the people do not use the land walk in the middle of the road. Be careful if you are driving there especially during rush hour and parking is not easy. The restaurants are really good. We tried a lot of them and the food is delicious and most of them have very reasonable prices. We were always treated nicely from the staff.
