One of the best boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is truly high end, with a wonderful and attentive staff. I especially appreciated the attention to every little detail. Apartment is clean, with everything you'll need and more. The view is fabulous! Our wonderful host meet us (even though we were late due to weather conditions) with fresh milk from the farm and homemade cookies. Even our daughter got chocolate for present. They have cows, two beautiful cats and a cute little dog. Can't stress enough how beautiful the view is. Great place for outdoor activities in the snow.

    A perfect accommodation in a perfect environment. The landscape is absolutely stunning in every direction — whether you’re up for a short walk or a longer hike, there are plenty of options. We arrived during rainy weather, but still went out to explore, and it was truly worth it — just beautiful. The accommodation itself is fantastic, with a great atmosphere. It’s very well-equipped, clean, and tastefully furnished. We informed the hosts in advance that we’d be arriving late, and they were already waiting for us — we were welcomed as if we were returning home to a kind relative. I had accidentally booked a twin room instead of a double, and when I asked if it was possible to switch, they immediately made the change for us without any problem. The breakfast was really tasty. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place — the surroundings and the hosts are simply amazing.

    We had the most wonderful stay at the Seepension accommodation in Mondsee. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking — we looked out directly over the serene lake and the charming docks, a scene straight out of a postcard. Our room was exquisite — spotlessly clean with tasteful decor and thoughtful details that made it feel both luxurious and cozy. Every element was clearly designed with care and attention. The host was lovely. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier day. Highly recommend to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and comfort in one unforgettable place!

As a family-run business, it offers everything one could need to explore the charming surroundings of Salzburg. The location is excellent, situated close to all the lovely small towns.     The location was a little further from the town centre than we had expected and had we not been able to make use (with the unfailing help of the family members and the staff at the town Tourist Information Office) of the excellent Post Bus Shuttle service, without a car it would have been difficult to get around.

    This hotel is an absolut gem!! It is located right on the lake front and it has a very cute private beach. Hotel is very modern and everything was pristine clean there. The staff was also absolutely lovely, breakfast was soo good! And the spa! 5 star panoramatic spa!!!

    Mondsee is a very pleasant area - very pleasant lakeside gardens and facilities. We were particularly impressed by the Post Shuttle Bus facility which was great for visitors without their own car facilities. The service provided by the Tourist Information Office was also first class.

    If you are without a vehicle and dependent of a public...

    If you are without a vehicle and dependent of a public transport, you are in for some massive dissapointments. There are zero public transportation available on weekends and the cab costs 45 Euros to pick you from the nearest railway station ( 6 km), to the hotel. This one was a deal breaker for us. We paid for 2 nights but stayed for just a night.

    Mondsee is a very beautiful town. It’s located by a lake and offers stunning views. The town’s church is gorgeous. I had the best meat I’ve ever eaten in my life there. If you have the chance, don’t miss visiting Restaurant Tauris Steaks & More.

    Fantastic lake, beautiful mountains, nostalgic old town, easy to reach from Salzburg, near by to Wolfgangsee, Fuschal am See, cable car, boat ride, Mountain railway at wolfgangsee (schafbergbahn), paragliding and much more.. Just perfect
