Rene and Joyce were excellent hosts, couldn't do enough for you. Rene is an exceptional chef and the food was delicious. The bedroom overlooked the mountains and had a wonderful sunrise. We were made to feel at home and will definitely be back to our new friends. Exceptional stat and very sad to leave.

The restaurant is very big and has well equipped play area in one corner so parents can enjoy a cup of coffee in peace. Location of the hotel is excellent. Only 20minute hike to Ehrenberg castle ruins and Highline179 bridge.

A special, family-run hotel. Great atmosphere and exceptional staff. We stayed with dinner and breakfast and they were wonderful, thoughtful and varied. Hotel restaurant is amazing with a wonderful decoration of every plate. Room was not so big but it was surprisingly enough space for our family of 3 people. Location is great with only 20 min drive to Germany. Personnel is very responsive and trying to give an extra service to their guests.

    Gintherhof epitomises genuine guest house hospitality in a way that no hotel, however smart or expensive, can possibly match. From exquisite antique linens to highest quality down duvets, to the provision of hiking rucksacks to borrow, the thought and care by Annelies and her parents was heartwarming. The farmhouse is full of charm and interesting artefacts at every turn, the pine panelled bedrooms so cosy and inviting. Breakfast was off the scale - in addition to fresh fruits, nuts, cereals and yoghurts, there was a vast selection of homemade breads and jams, with cheeses, hams, local eggs and other savoury delights. We were even given bags and encouraged to make a packed lunch for ourselves! We left feeling restored and grateful for such kindness and friendship. What a welcome we will never forget.

    Excellent accommodation in a beautiful area for hiking & biking. Hosts were outstanding. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Plenty of shopping within easy drives, lovely views from all directions. A definite A+.

    It is a beautiful area with many nice walks to do.

    It is a beautiful area with many nice walks to do. We were there when it was snowing and the frozen ice and snow was beautiful. The ski field is very close by, however the slopes are very challenging and only suitable for those who have grown up on skis.

    I would recommend the high wire for an adventure.

    I would recommend the high wire for an adventure. The view of Reutte from above is amazing. And the history of the castle ruins gives an incite to life in the area long ago. There are also very beautiful lakes for walks and the alps for hiking and skiing.
