- From US$143.66 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 112 reviewsGreat little pocket of paradise based in Bulwer on Moreton Island. The accommodation and location exceeded our expectations, regardless of having phone signal, it was the perfect switch off to the outside world. Staff were great, the shop and cafe served great food, and the short walk to the beach was ideal. Keith drove us to and from the ferry, very lovely and chatty telling us stories of being a local on moreton.Guest review byBethUnited Kingdom

Brisbane!...love it!
Brisbane!...love it! Lots of walking trails (majority with shade). Seems like October/November is the time for shows at The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC)...if you are visiting soon...check out The 39 Steps at The Playhouse. You have a choice of Lyric, Cremorne, The Playhouse theatres, Concert Hall. Don't forget the Art Gallery which is just across the road from QPAC. .. Amazing view from the 23rd level Sky Deck at Star Casino. Fabulous restaurants and bars. For an old worldly atmosphere go visit Brisbane Arcade...have a bite to eat at Room with Roses. Catch the City Cat Ferry for only 50cts and enjoy a lazy cruise up and down the Brisbane river...hop on and off for fabulous shopping and eateries all along the river! Drop into fab boutique "They call me Kitten D'amour"...sassy dresses!Guest review byBettyAustralia - 8.0

Ipswich is steeped in History, being the original choice for the Capital of the new State of Queensland in 1859. The depth of the Bremer River was seen as an impediment for shipping, so Brisbane became the Capital. Queens Park is an Oasis in the centre of the City and includes an animal enclosure with a walk through, fu;; flight Aviary. The City has a proud Rail and Coal Mining past. The Ipswich Rail Museum should be on any visitors itinerary.Guest review byCatherineAustralia - 10.0

Beautiful area with lots to explore. Love the lighthouse restaurant. Heaps of places to eat and drink. Lots of shopping options too. And Stradbroke Island just a ferry ride away. Or you can catch a train into Brisbane city if you want to.Guest review byTammi-LynnAustralia - 8.0

Be prepared for the fact that the breakfast is in a cafe attached to the Hotel, there is no buffet breakfast. The Cafe is very pleasant, overlooking the water. Have a good map of the North Lakes precinct or be familiar with the maze of very narrow, very busy roads that you will need to negotiate.Guest review byMaxAustralia - 10.0

We love Bongaree.... fantastic RSL, beautiful views, very relaxed place to visit. The seaside museum is awesome & it's free. Great little shops, cafés, safe swimming. We have noticed that it's certainly becoming busier than it used to be.....but understandably, it's a great spot. Bongaree caravan park is a nice place to stay with cabins available too. Try to get a spot away from the main road as it will be much quieter without traffic noise.Guest review byRossAustralia - 10.0
