Tons to see and do. If you are international travellers you will need to be careful of the high temperatures during Spring/Summer. Travelling on the river and long walks are a fun past-time and if you need to lose a few kilos then this is the place to do it. We love Bongaree.... fantastic RSL, beautiful views, very relaxed place to visit. The seaside museum is awesome & it's free. Great little shops, cafés, safe swimming. We have noticed that it's certainly becoming busier than it used to be.....but understandably, it's a great spot. Bongaree caravan park is a nice place to stay with cabins available too.
