Yamba is my favorite place in Australia. Ive been here in 2016 -2017 - 2019 and now 2025 traveling with a kid. The staff is amazing and the town is cutiest ever ! Bathroom has a big shower and the beds are sooo comfortabel!

Iconic location. Iconic hotel. A great place to stay and excellent value for money. I’ve been going to Yamba for almost 50 years and stayed here, at pub, for the first time as my place was not available.     +Motel room was superb: comfortable, high and large bed. The ensuite shower was strong. Room was really well equipped: Air con, ceiling fan, TV, kettle, toaster, fridge and crockery/cutlery so you could use the well equipped camp kitchen to cook your own meals +There was lots of really comfortable outdoor seating and a swimming pool + Good laundry facilities +Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Kadie remembered my name 😀 +On a Tuesday the park takes a table in the nearby pub so you can get to meet your fellow travelers and have a discount meal. +Some fabulous beaches nearby and also some rainforest which has a boardwalk through it. Lovely small town too, felt authentic rather than touristy.

    We stayed in "Bandicoot" cabin with our Greyhound. It was spacious with plenty of room for all of us. It had everything I needed for cooking a meal and the laundry was great. The grounds were great for the Greyhound to wander on leash and do his business and then have a lie down on the gated verandah of the cabin. The Clarence River was literally just across the road from the property and my husband spent the afternoon throwing a line.

    proximity to the bowls and golf club and restaurants in town. Sue provided great suggestions regarding great places to eat in town. the apartment itself was spotlessly clean and bed was really comfortable. the apartment was quiet and the checking in process was easy to follow. all in all we would definitely book again and would recommend others to stay.

    Loved the lodge, really cosy and comfortable. I would 100% recommend staying, got everything you need. Big communal bbq area which was very clean however can cook in the lodge too if needed. Location is so close to the beach and river also a little pub close by too. Very nice relaxing weekend in peaceful location.

    A beautiful little coastal town.

    A beautiful little coastal town. Perfect to get away from the city. We found the people friendly. The food was a little on the expensive side. But that is expected. Seafood was great! We really enjoyed Yamba. We ate at the Wobbly cook. The calamari was delish, and we also visited the local bakery.

    The Clarence river is majestic, the town has everything you need, friendly people, no noise, great day trips to Ulmarra, woopi and Lawrence. The coffee places, Sweet Layers, Vines, coffee shops in Woopi and Lawrence shop cafe were great.

    We came for the October long weekend and stayed Saturday night. We arrived early so we could see the town but sadly most things closed at 12pm or some things weren’t open at all, leaving us with 3 hours of having nothing to do and nowhere to visit for 3 hours until we were able to check in.

    We love Wooli and this was our second year in a row staying...

    We love Wooli and this was our second year in a row staying in these apartments. They are very nice although a few things could be upgraded or improved. The recliner couches in our apartments were comfortable but very rusty underneath, making them difficult to close. We would have liked some games or a deck of cards in the apartment, too. But all in all these apartments are in a beautiful spot and are a lovely place to stay.

    the beach was amazing and the fact you are surrounded by national parks and walks. It was a small town that has not changed for a life time and it is like going back in time but the area is amazing to see the accommodation I could not fault the owner also owns the general store the only place to get food in Brooms head and the accommodation is right on the water with some water views the apartment was spotless and well equipped and modern . Netflix ,prime and other networks are their for you to see. I felt at peace their and the owner has good vibes

    Awesome!!

    Awesome!! will definitely want to stay with friends to explore the Clarence Valley. Found the Food Co for great coffee, took a walk around town, checked out the 2nd hand bookstore and filled up our fuel at the corner garage. Thanks Ulmarra!!

    Lovely, relaxed, beautiful place, lots of great places to walk to. We had breakfast at the local Bakehouse which was really nice and had evening meals at the Golf Club and at the Mexican on Coldstream St. Visited the nearby town of MacLean which was really nice too, especially interesting for anyone with Scottish heritage. We saw lots of dolphins at Convent Beach and there were lots of great places to do whale watching. Watching the sunrise from the lighthouse was stunning.

    Found a great locally owned pizza place down near the library in a shopping mall. Getting around Grafton is easy as it is flat. Nice views of the river from the river walk and the parks situated along the river.
