- From $255 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 2,198 reviewsWe were meant to stay from 7-16 Mar, cyclone hit and we were able to move our bookings to 28 Mar-6 Apr. We had 7 rooms during our stay (5 for 8 nights and 2 for 3 nights), x4 2 bedroom superior apts, x2 2 bedroom apts and x1 bedroom apt We did request and pay for 2 rooms on the ground. Right up until the day before we arrived, reception was not able to confirm our room numbers. If I'd known how far our 2nd room was going to be and how difficult it was going to be for our mum to go up/down the stairs to and from room, we would've asked to move rooms. We checked in quite late to the resort, so by the time we got in our room, unpacked and relaxed after our international flight, we'd already made ourselves comfortable and used the towels, bathrooms etc; when checking in I did keep telling the receptionist that we had our mum but that didn't seem to factor in her allocating the room. It was our fault for staying in the room. She just took her time walking around the resort Our room was very spacious and the arrival pack (eggs, bread, milk etc;) kids activity pack, free drinks/kids club/mini golf vouchers were much appreciated😊 even the road works outside the resort, you couldn't hear any extra noise where our rooms were located. We appreciated the washing machine and dryer. The resort having trolleys for shopping trips was handy to have. Car parking was a breeze and placed well within your room allocation. The gym was used frequently, games room visited by the kids/teenagers and the cinema was a hit with the under 5's The pools were amazing! there was something for everyone in our group (1yo to 60yo) was nice having the spas beside the pools too If something was broken or you needed an extra blanket, reported it to reception/rung house keeping and it was dealt with immediately. A1 service TIP: bring mat/old towel to use as door mat to wipe up wet floors when rainingGuest review byNayNew Zealand
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 7 reviewsWe had an awesome experience operating and living on the houseboat Seaview. For first time boaters, I highly recommend it if you are up for a different holiday experience. Navigating the waterways and islands was a nice adventure. Our 4 and 6 year old kids were on board and absolutely loved it. We encountered some challenges (newbie issues) but just figured it out along the way. The Coomera Houseboat staff were excellent, patient and a great help the whole way supporting us.Guest review bySi WeiSingapore

Gold Coast is an amazing family holiday destination so much...
Gold Coast is an amazing family holiday destination so much to see and do from theme parks, Currumbin zoo sanctuary and the beautiful beaches. We hired a car to get around and it was reasonably priced. We loved our stay at Burleigh heads and Broadbeach in apartments with a pool and most places are close by or across from the beach. Both have a great vibe with cafes and restaurants, family friendly and quieter than surfers paradise. We did a hotel stay in surfers paradise but wouldn't bother going back next time. It’s very busy, a bit dirty and touristy. It has lot going on but we preferred the vibe of the beaches further along the coast. And they are still close enough to the theme parks. Dream world, movie world and SeaWorld were our favourite theme parks for 5, 8 and 10 years. They also loved Currumbin wildlife sanctuary. Give yourself at least 6 nights to explore especially if you’re doing 3 or more theme parks as they are huge days and we found it best not to do back to back. We’ll be back for another holiday!Guest review byJenNew Zealand - 8.0
Good stay. Room staff not the best.
Good stay. Room staff not the best. Staff need to freshen room and make bed in morning and not in afternoon. Also leave configuration of bed which was requested ( Double ) and not change to 2 singles. Wife not very happy. Parking of car easy and access to room from Car Park easy.Guest review byJohn - 10.0

The main road to Spring brook was closed. Made it a bit confusing. All the businesses are OPEN Amazing areas of interest. Polly's kitchen, Boomerang Farm cafe, golf course, herb farm, Panchos, lots more The area was full of things to doGuest review byTraceymumAustralia - 8.0
Only overnight stay
Only overnight stay As a home stay certain services were presented like communal television room , this meant that you couldn't relax in your room ,especially important when one guest had had a medical procedure that afternoon . We were fortunate to have an en suit. some rooms has to share bathrooms . Communal kitchen for a cup of tea. Other activities were available for guests like jigsaw. Very steep drive for low cars meant park out on foot path Very amazing views and very quiet. Pleasant owners Food available 5 minutes from homeGuest review byHeatherAustralia - 10.0
I loved the tranquility most.
I loved the tranquility most. Currumbin Valley is lush and green, yet it is easy to access both the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers popular tourist destinations. Apart from the expected theme parks, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and a coast full of famous beaches, the Direct Factory Outlet Harbour Town in Biggera Waters would have to be the biggest in Australia. We also visited the Kiva Spa in Mullumbimby. There's now The Banya Bathhouse in Mullumbimby too.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Tallebudgera valley is beautiful and close enough to get to places of interest while being out in the countryside. Spent some time in Burleigh Heads where you can get excellent coffee from Paradox Coffee Roasters. Had a vegan lunch at Izakaya Midori in Reedy Creek, amazing Japanese food. Visited David Fleay's wildlife park - well worth a visit.Guest review byJudithAustralia - 10.0

We needed a place for the night which was clean and comfortable and the Blue Pelican suited all our requirements as we were not on holiday, just passing through on a long journey. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms was clean and neat. The Club across the road was just right. The BIstro was very well priced and we had a good choice of meals but enjoyed a roast pork dinner.Guest review byMarilynAustralia - 8.0

General cleanliness was good but could have done with a Spring clean ie dust in the blinds, cobwebs in the corners & ants in the kitchenette. The wifi was very poor but wasn’t staying long enough to make an issue of it. The pool did not look inviting and did not look as advertised as many leaves in the pool with filter hose floating around. Garden and back yard looked unkept and nothing like the manicured gardens in the advertisement but the basics were done ie mowed. Door lock code appeared to be working but I was able to get in without a code so it could have become a security issue. These are all minor issues that can be easily fixed so my stay was pleasant otherwise.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Unfortunately as the weather was cyclonic, and we only had a 1 night stay we didn't get to see what the area was like. I can say that the location is absolutely beautiful, high up with amazing views ( as much as I could see through the driving rain). I would love to visit the area again. I found it easy to get to from the M1. One day, I will be back.Guest review byMadeleineAustralia
