- From US$394.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,464 reviewsWe spent two nights in this beautiful property - the history just adds to the charm. The views of the harbour and Mt. Wellington in the distance are just the perfect sights to wake up to. The staff is exceptional. A special mention of Tim and Monica who made sure our tour bookings were the best options that worked for us and answered any and all questions we had about beautiful Hobart. The rooms themselves are well-appointed, quirky, comfortable, and just easy to relax in. We needed to keep our bags at the property after checkout for many hours as we had tours planned and the hotel did not hesitate to accommodate us.Guest review byVeedaIndia
- From US$200.77 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,809 reviewsLenna Of Hobart is a fabulous hotel. It is located between Salamanca and Battery Point, giving you easy access to all the main tourist spots, but also local cafes and shops. It is a historic building that has been done up beautifully. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable with comfortable bed and a great shower. A real benefit for us were the guest laundry facilities that allowed us to wash clothes between between hiking/kayaking adventures. The hotel was brilliant at ensuring our bags (which we left in storage as we went hiking/kayaking) were put in our rooms, ready for our return. Overall, a brilliant hotel.Guest review byElizabethUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 971 reviewsThe apartment is more spacious than the photos suggested, with well-equipped kitchen and a washing machine, spacious bathroom and comfy bed. Location is excellent, right next to Hobart harbour and 5 min walk to CBD and shops. There is secured parking at 10 AUD per night, very reasonable given how expensive parking rate is at the harbour area. Check-in staff is very efficient and friendly, and the room is spotless. Excellent value for money!Guest review byYuchunTaiwan

Simply check in and use hotel card to tap on gantry and enter carpark. Love the gym facility as well! Very neat and tidy with lots of equipments.Guest review byBerwinSingapore

Hobart is really developing.
Hobart is really developing. The food scene is improving and there are a number of things to do within a short drive. Mona is worth the visit, and the markets were the best they have been in a while. Get a car and have a drive around, you'll be surprised.Guest review byRichardAustralia - 10.0

A great place to start when you fly into Hobart.
A great place to start when you fly into Hobart. Just over 20 minutes away from the airport. This small town is packed with historic sites, shops, and eateries, and surrounded by an excellent wine region. Riversdale Estate would be top of our list! Everyone was welcoming and helpful.Guest review byPaulNew Zealand - 10.0

Kingston Hotel had extremely large rooms and was on the opposite block to Coles supermarket and other shops. The rooms were separate from the hotel which enabled a very quiet sleep. Shiploads and Chemist etc were just outside the door approx 50m an easy walk. Didn't get a chance to see anything else.Guest review byChristopherAustralia - 10.0

We enjoyed a good meal at the Bush Inn pub which was a stroll from the property .It's claim to fame is it's Australia's oldest continuously operating licensed hotel, established in 1815. There is a bit of history around New Norfolk and a pleasant river walk.Guest review byBeverlyAustralia - 10.0

Clean; well equipped apartment. Staff were awesome! Unit was easily the most comfortable including the beds and bedding I have stayed in. Easy excess to the Highway to access Hobart and the tourist attractions by car. Restaurant a real bonus; need to supply own breakfast retirements.Guest review byYvonneAustralia - 10.0
Loved Mount Rumney.
Loved Mount Rumney. Prepare for a bit of a drive up and road can be a bit dicey, but well worth it if you take your time. Glad we stayed the 5 days. So relaxing. We went out daily to various places and it was so good to come back to Wombat house to wind down with the wonderful view and a nice cold drink lol. We went to Old Hobart Town in Richmond, which young ones should love, as it is a miniature of Hobart back in the day. Just like doll houses. You can also visit Richmond gaol. We went to Campbeltown and Ross to see the bridges built by the convicts. Visited Port Arthur and was amazed with the changes and work they have done there. We are lucky we weren't born back then and a convict. Got the ferry from Bellerive to Salamanca Markets and had a good walk around. Went to Mausons Hut museum and then back on ferry. Much easier than trying to park in Hobart. Overall, Mount Rumney is a great starting point for tourists.Guest review byLaura - 10.0

Such a beautiful, historic and interesting city which we thoroughly enjoyed exploring. The traffic was easy, people kind and friendly, food and coffee delicious and lots of local, independent shops to visit. The history was so interesting and we really appreciated the beauty of the buildings. The tourist board has done a fabulous job of making the European history come to life, and did not shy away from the the effects on the indigenous inhabitants in each area without embellishing or dramatising the facts. The staff at these places were deeply engaging and highly knowledgeable and their passion was infectioius. We left Tasmania knowing we will return, so thanks to everyone we met for making our too short visit a wonderful experienceGuest review byMarina BarkerAustralia
