United KingdomFab hotel. Booked this last minute and was not disappointed. All staff were fantastic & couldn't of done any more for me. Meal was lovely and was handy having the laundry facility there. Mackay wasn't on my intinary to stop but the staff made this an enjoyable stay, and took away from the stress of not being able to reach my original destination of Airlie Beach due to road closures and weather conditions.

AustraliaWe stayed in the hotel rooms which were quiet and cosy. It is an older hotel however the rooms were clean and tidy and provided with everything you needed for your stay. The food was fantastic at the pub with a large selection on the menu. Very relaxed atmosphere and staff.

Mackay Harbour and foreshore are a must visit, beautifully landscapped with quality building, shops, and fish & chips. 2. Mackay Botanic Gardens are a must visit, and are superior to most gardens. Lovely paths and signposted plants, all overlooking a pretty lagoon. Our stay was absolutely great. The rooms were very clean and spacious. And the ocean view from our balcony was stunning 😍 The food at the restaurant was really good, homemade style. Seaforth is quiet but friendly.
Seaforth is quiet but friendly. Apparently a great fishing and crabbing spot. There is a Bowling Club with an excellent restaurant and a service station/local shop that covers most needs. A Post Office and shop that sells all sorts of interesting stuff and lots more. There’s a cafe on the road in that sells delicious food, particularly scones with jam and cream that are amazing.
