Zero Co branded toiletries was a huge plus. Laundry and kitchenette were great. Coffee voucher for the cafe downstairs was a great added touch.

Our cabin was well presented and organised. it had everything we needed from good quality saucepans to wading up liquid to milk in the fridge. Every time I looked for something I found it.
There was even a good Size TV with ABC kids so we could have a rest a couple of times.
Super close to everything. Right in the middle of town. Opposite the pool, 100m from the pub and the general store at most, opposite the cafe and park which did excellent decaf coffee with Soy!
The grounds were immaculate, and we found a nice track for a walk by the river. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Where do I start? I was absolutely blown away with the hotels attention to detail. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world & this one blew me away. A very special gem of a hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant & my steak was outstanding. The staff friendly & professional. Nothing to fault.

Great experience staying in in an old Hotel. One could imagine what it was like in the past , but with a little bit more comport. we had dinner there. and the chief was one of the best. everything had the most wonderful flavors. Would go again just for the dinner.

It was a surprising delight to be honest, at the price, I expected very little but it was a great set-up. Super easy check-in and the room was great for the price.
The Breakfast was a nice surprise too, cereal, juice and toast with jam was a great addition.

Easy to get to once we got off our bus walking distance.receptionists were amazing and nice and helpful when needed would 100% go back. The room was cute and clean the beds were comfy aslwell and great prices for booking as well!!

Tamworth is a bigger town than expected but without the...
Tamworth is a bigger town than expected but without the traffic queues. We went to the look out and enjoyed the scene from afar. Visited the big guitar and The Australian Music Hall of Fame - -found it was built in the shape of a guitar. Shopping Centers were not as crowded but loved the little shops along the main Peel street. We had the opportunity to see the Professional Bull Riding show and that was exciting. Also had the opportunity to visit Nundle (mining town) and various farmers markets. An enjoyable discovery of Tamworth

Lots of historical buildings and beautiful gardens. For a donation, the information centre has a guided city tour, which was very informative and enjoyable. Had dinner at The White Bull hotel and Armidale RSL. Food was delicious at both places. Armidale lookout.

I stopped for two nights during winter specifically to visit the Artesian Pool. There are several in the town.
The Spa Village Motel was boundary fenced with gates that were closed for the night.
It is a town I will go back to & stay longer to see more.

Great wide streets.
Great wide streets. The street signs were difficult to see especially at night. Had a group dinner at the railway hotel. Very efficient & friendly staff. Great meals, big serves. Highly recommend.
Visited Mitre 10's garden section. Regular plants were very expensive. Prices badly displayed. Cluttered. Badly presented. Unappealing.

Worth the short drive and walk to see the amazing Sawn Rocks formation
If time do the drive out to the Aust Telescope - good info centre and interesting the size of the complex -
Grain harvesting was happening so we stopped for 1/2 hour watched the unloading of road trains at the grain handling facility and train loading.
The surrounding farming area was very green and gold and picturesque t this time of the year

I explored the standing stones but my stay at GI was solely...
I explored the standing stones but my stay at GI was solely used as a base for exploring the Old Grafton Road before travelling back home. This road is currently closed so I had to tackle it from Glen Innis one afternoon, making it to The Mann River Nature Reserve and then made the long drive next day to Grafton to tackle it from that end. The tunnel was accessible from this side. Well worth it as the scenery was to die for. Meals were excellent at the Servicemens Club and diesel was priced exceptionally well for this trip.

Nowhere to eat after dark except the Chinese restaurant which was extremely busy to the point where we waited an hour after being seated before our meal was fully served.The one restaurant we went into was empty of any staff so we left after waiting several minutes.The following night we bought a chicken and salad from Coles.We will not be visiting Inverell again any time soon.If you like to drink till midnight and have loud music then the old pub is the place for you.It's not our scene as I imagine it isn't for older tourists

I spent my school days in Quirindi and it hasn't lost its charm. It is still a vibrant country town which is proud of its past The most obvious evidence of this is the art on town's silo. The light show, every night, is worth a look.

Uralla is an attractive small town with an excellent museum...
Uralla is an attractive small town with an excellent museum focussing on local history staffed by very knowledgeable volunteers. Next to the museum is a well-stocked shop offering a wide variety of locally made goods. Thunderbolt‘s grave, Gostwyk church and a historic woodshed are nearby points of interest. The town itself looks very well-maintained with attractive shops, cafes and pubs lining the main road.
Add on Armidale for another day or three, ensuring to time your visit around guided tours of the Saumarez Homestead. The historic bus tour organised by the tourist information office is also very good. Armidale Regional Art Museum is worth a visit and the galettes offered by the French-Style Cafe Patisserie make a welcome change to the run-of-the-mill burgers dominating menus across the country.
