United KingdomThis hotel really was an amazing surprise for us, the photos we saw on the booking site really doesn’t make any justice to this beautiful location.
The room had an amazing view to the beautiful Belogradchik rocks and so we could enjoy beautiful sunsets and sunrises from the comfort of our room.
The room was spacious and as we were travelling the with a baby it was important for us to have enough space for him to move around freely.
The staff was kind enough to arrange for a baby cot to be put in our room so that we could enjoy our stay without hassles.
We went to this destination to enjoy the outdoors but travelling with a baby that was not always possible, and so we had an amazing time in the hotel enjoying the pool which our little one loved, and also the local food at the restaurant.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I cannot recommend this site enough!

A taxi took me from the bus station to the hotel, and I was pleased to see that overcharging foreigners is not common in this town. I got a warm welcome at the reception, and although not much English was spoken, communication was not impossible and I was made to feel welcome. After collecting my key and entering my room, I got my surprise - my room was in fact and apartment, and a very large and spacious one too! In addition to the bedroom, there is a big living room, and well as two small gardens exclusive to the room. I was very comfortable there, and my planned night became 5 nights, and I didn't want to leave. Everyday I was able to extend my stay, and I was always asked if I needed anything for the room. Needless to say, if I ever find myself in the pleasant town of Vidin in the future, I will reserve a room here again.Guest review byAlan GrimesIreland

Where to start.. The room was super clean and comfortable, the AC worked well and it had a balcony with a view of the pool and the rocks/fortress area! The 'rock' pool was also really clean with a small waterfall, so refreshing and peaceful. The shared kitchen was well-equipped and had lots of space for eating/drinking inside and out. The location was perfect, so close to nice restaurants, the panoramic viewpoint and not far from the fortress. The host was very communicative and helpful. They helped me book a taxi to and from the train station and told me about local events happening during my stay (a Bulgarian rock concert at the fortress!) Vidin is located in the far northeast part of Bulgaria and reaching it is a bit of a challenge due to the poor infrastructure but the town offers interesting places to visit as well as good dining options. The Baba Vida fortress is a must see - the most well preserved medieval fortress in the whole of Bulgaria. The Belogradchik Rocks are a phenomenal natural wonder that is worth the drive from Vidin. Nice city , very small. In the center parking as usually is a problem. Belogradchik as a town has nothing to offer, but The Rocks and the surroundings are amazingly beautiful. The place should be on everyone's short list, a place to visit at least once in a lifetime. The city has been improving in the last decade. Now it has much more to offer.
