It was so clean, so comfortable!!! I wanted to take the bed home with me!!! 🙈 the staff so friendly and so helpful!! Was a trip I would never forget !!! Unfortunately dint realize all the amenities that the hotel had (like the casino, the cinema) it was on the last day I found out and dint get to enjoy those but such an amazing hotel!!! The team at the front desk are professional, warm and accommodating. The team go out of their way to make you feel at home and the facilities are beautiful. I was ill one of the days and one of the girls at the front desk offered to make me something to settle my stomach. Really beautiful area, located in a easy to reach part of Porto Nuovo and the variety of performances and concerts on site as well which are a treat, the hotel guests can attend if they like making it an all rounded experience for peace but socialising if thats what you like,

I don't even know where to start. The owner was an amazing host - we got to meet him upon arrival. I loved the room and how spacious it was. It was great for my family and two young kids. The breakfasts and lunches were delicious as well. I also loved how carefully curated the art was. Everything was beautiful and I will stay there each time. We honestly never wanted to leave the little oasis in Cotonou.

Superb beach resort in the best coastal area of Benin. I felt welcome there: the service was impeccable, polite and professional. Celine and Antoinine did a great job to feed me and made sure I was not too thirsty.
Unfortunately, I was there on the job and I could not enjoy the place as much as I wanted. But, again, there was nothing better than to arrive tired and sweaty and take the swimming short and jump into the ocean for an evening swim!
The rooms were nice, very functional and everything worked well.

I am always far from enthusiastic but this place really impressed me. The staff was very nice and professional, the room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning. The location of the hotel is also very good not far from the city center.
And all this for a really good price.
I would have loved to stay here longer, but I didn't come to Benin to spend time in a hotel.

We had a great stay at Germain's as a base to explore Ganvié. Christopher kept in touch with me before hand suggesting an itinerary to make the most of my stay. The options and pricing were really clear as well as the times. He made the transfers to and from Ganvié really easy. The staff were lovely. The food was great. It was a nice location outside the centre of town. Other hotels seemed more in the town where it was noisy. It's a unique experience and Germain's is the best place to do that.
