Nice view of the Matterhorn. A bit obstructed by the building in front BUT that didn’t really take away from the view, just made the room feel more private. Room service food was excellent, included breakfast was great and service overall was fantastic. Couldn’t fault the location, central to pretty much everything. Room was a bit warm the first night but we were advised to open a window which we did, no issues after that. Great for the environment! They stored our luggage and took it to the room when it became available while we were exploring Zermatt. Beautiful location and super close to the train station. They even have a shuttle service which was very helpful for all our heavy luggage and older people. The staff is top notch - proactive, professional and caring. What is more the hotel is really pet friendly in the room we found bed and bowls prepared for our dog, which was a pleasant surprise. The area is quiet, rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. Wellness area was perfect - cameral, we had it almost for ourselves. Breakfasts are excellent with variety of food to choose. We had already been up four mountain peaks in Switzerland so we were more interested in the area than going up another peak. We would probably go another time to B&B Gasenried when we are there. It is a nice B&B with friendly staff and owner and they are located on a spectacular place. Our experience of Blatten was amazing! We were blown out by this little gem! We went up the cable car, had some drinks, came down and some more by the restaurant across the street. Great little village with no cars, only small electric vehicles. Great food, good shopping and stunning views of then Matterhorn. Nice to walk the streets with no worry of traffic. There was a small group of older local musicians dressed in traditional clothing who played at a location and then moved on to another location to play. Great option for being affordable if wanting to visit Zermatt. A trains runs between the two cities every 20 minutes which makes travel easy. Not much in Täsch in terms of shopping/restaurants so keep that in mind before leaving Zermatt.Guest review byReesha - 10.0

Unfortunately there was heavy cloud cover the two days I was there and didn’t see the Matterhorn at all. Web cams at top showed nothing so didn’t go up. Gornergrat trip was worthwhile and good views of everything except the Matterhorn.i enjoyed walking round the old town.
