This is a brand-new, very stylish hotel. I loved it! The rooms are comfortable and exciting. All staff members are helpful and very pleasant. We enjoyed chatting with them very much, but they were also very efficient at their work and made sure everything was running smoothly. Besides all the other delicacies they offer for breakfast, fresh bread is also something to remember. I also loved the cow farm that this high-end hotel restaurant window overlooks—it seemed exciting to us. We got a free Ticino card at the reception, including free public transportation and discounts at some Locarno city attractions, a nice bonus.

Completely renovated in 2017, the modern Hotel Bellinzona Sud is located in Monte Carasso, right off the A2 highway.

Great hotel and facilities. Fabulous staff, helpful and attentive. Room price includes a basic breakfast and access to free coffee, tea, fruit or snack. While slightly out of town, the hotel pays half the taxi fare which we found was a good option for us when arriving from and leaving for the station with much luggage. They also informed us of the free bus pass for tourists which they organised for us but we found the 30 minute walk into town very pleasant. Great views of the mountains and castles from the rooms. Having stayed at other hotels in Bellinzona in the past, this will now become our go to hotel for future visits.

Very good breakfast. A lot of choice. Orange juice for all, delicious coffee, buns with cheese, croissants. Varied and tasty!

We felt so welcome. The location was perfect for the train station and bus to Tenero. Breakfast was good. Good restaurants nearby. We will be back.

The location is great, the view is amazing, the house is very spacious and has everything you need, and it's very clean. The hosts are lovely and kind, always happy to help, and the atmosphere feels just like home. We would definitely love to come back again.
