The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean. There is parking place in front of the hotel entrance. The environment and nature are beautiful & peaceful. We were already on the road for a week when we reached Val Müstair and felt like being at home in Chavalatsch. Breakfast was also great quality and more than enough. Very good price-quality ratio. Lovely wee place!
Lovely wee place! Great for gentle walks or a great starting point for more challenging hikes and/or bike rides. Enjoyed the local restaurants and specialties. Pretty village with a lovely church in typical Swiss (fortified) style. It is literally a few steps away from the border with Italy, and I was able to walk with my dog right up to a boundary stone in the middle of a field! It is a fascinating area for linguists - Swiss German, standard German and Rumansch all feature, so you will have a great time if, like me, these things interest you.Guest review byant1060Malta
