I stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel near 5-4 Square in Qingdao, and I was truly impressed by the exceptional service. It wasn’t just one or two staff members who stood out, but rather every team member was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. They quickly and efficiently handled all our requests, creating a very warm and comfortable experience. I’ve stayed at many 5-star hotels, but this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a letter of appreciation. My sincere thanks to the hotel management and staff for their outstanding service.

    lived there for one year shortly after the beijing olympics. moved to dalian and been there since. an up and coming city. still waiting for the chunnel link to dalian and then the city will be most bustling. a seaside town where you need to know chinese to get by, unlike other major cities.

    This is a very pleasant city. Easy to walk and see sights. The seaside is beautiful. There is always a small breeze which makes the hot weather much more bearable. Seafood is great. The Beer Museum and the Former German Governor's House are very interesting and worth to see!

    A beautiful city... the people are very friendly& colourful 😊 Taking the metro was a breeze but perhaps we need escalators for the elderly who may not be so agile & mobile like those younger/fitter commuters. Nevertheless it's awesome to be in such a bustling place 🎉
