the hotel was so good, room is very clean and big and very clean, the breakfast was amazing for us as was not expected to find a good breakfast for us as not easy to find in China breakfast easily. We liked everything during our stay. The hotel is very accommodating and aided us with our requirements from the booking. Thank you. Everybody at the hotel was quite polite, diligent, and professional. The rooms (Japanese styled) were clean and comfortable, with a truly nice view of the city... plus an excellent TV system, and a wonderful bathroom. Food was excellent on the top floor of the hotel. The location is good, as there are some nice places nearby to visit, either at walking distance or by car (Taxi - Didi). Next time, we will stay for a longer time.

The team was really professional, especially the restaurant and restaurant meeting rooms are operated flawlessly. We had a business meeting we had to organize, a staff member called Queen took care of us. She provided a detailed plan for the next days meeting and even helped us pick the menu for the main course. The service was top notch and the place is also super clean. We will definately be coming back to this hotel whenever we have a meeting in Shenzhen.

    This is one of the best hotel I stayed. Door step to Shenzhen bay and multiple parks. Staff are so friendly. Whenever I rang the reception, they say “您好！让您久等了 （Good morning/afternoon/evening Madam! Sorry to keep you waiting)” Simple opening made me feel that they respected my feelings & time. The cleaning staff (黄定玉） was very thorough and effectively cleaned my room everyday.

    Staff of most of the hotels I have stayed in Shenzhen before May 2023 can't speak English and so communication is a big problem. But in Sunshine hotel many staff, be it at reception or restaurant or at room service can speak English. It is a good clean hotel with courteous and helpful staff.

    Fabulous hotel! I loved it! After this experience I will always search for Hard Rock during my travels if available. The rooms are marvelous, the huge bathroom with huge round bath, wow. The corridors are great, the lifts, everywhere you feel like a pop star, haha. Services of first class.

    - We enjoyed Window of the World but not enough vegetarian food offered. Too much reliance on MEAT. - Cigarette smoking everywhere rather than now in international standards, designated places. - More restaurants need to offer vegetarian food. - People generally were helpful, friendly and cheerful. - Getting around by metro was easy and convenient - More tourist attractions needed.

    It is all that we can expect of a modern city. Well designed, clean, efficient and langham staff are extraordinary. Just watch out for the bad potatoes..a dishonest taxi driver that fetched us from shekou ferry terminal.

    Been first time in Shenzhen and not able to speak Chinese...

    Been first time in Shenzhen and not able to speak Chinese was interesting. People were helpful, polite and patient. I was told there were all sorts of hurdles. No internet, needs VPN , no WhatsApp blah blah blah. I bought an esim from Agoda which was cheap as chips which worked brilliantly. WhatsApp worked as normal. I installed Alipay with a credit card that doesn't charge international fees before travelling. Alipay pays for everything. Brilliant. It had Didi for transport. Brillant. I had WeChat installed but not able to read Chinese it was not completely helpful unless I ask the restaurant staff to help. I installed Amap which is to replace Google map and it was very accurate. So an esim from Agoda/Alipay/Amap/WeChat is all you need. Oh Google translation was mighty helpful for menus etc Enjoy.
