This B&B was very relaxing, clean and comfortable and has a beautiful large garden. One of the highlights was Carlos who is a wonderful host and chef cook! The breakfast was delicious and we even managed to spot some toucans from our breakfast table. We would recommend this place to anyone.

    The breakfast was amazing, so much and so delicious. The location was so beautiful and peaceful. I would recommend getting there before dark because of small winding roads (no lights) and pot holes.

    Our trip was mostly rejuvenation, health and to access the...

    Our trip was mostly rejuvenation, health and to access the volcano and hot springs. We went to Arenal park and hiked the trail to the Volcano. We saw a Capibara but most other wildlife is best viewed in the early morning. There were a lot of orchids in bloom along the trails. Going to EcoTermales Hotspring was the highlight. It's a gorgeous naturally constructed spa with layered pools, waterfalls all built with stacked granite rockery, bridges and pathways connect the pools, and there's plenty of seating, an open bar that serves the best mixed drinks. The restaurant served fresh healthy assortment of seafood and meats with veggie dishes with dessert at Lunch. The water was fed from the natural hotspring, which was circulated , refreshed constantly with fresh volcanic water. Attention to the holistic elements of nature were throughout. Staff and Service were top notch.

    The scenery in Nuevo Arenal is amazing. Both the volcano and the lake offer many chances for impressive photographs. The town has the necessities that a visitor might need. Restaurants serve good food at good prices.

    Everything was great,

    Everything was great, only down side is the busy narrow road around the town. Outer locations were quieter! We Loved Nuevo Arenal. It is a quaint little town about 40 min from Arenal Town. Although you can not see the Volcano from there, there are Beautiful views of Lake Arenal.. Great Restaurants and People.

    Not convenient for La Fortuna.

    Not convenient for La Fortuna. It was a 20 min windy road drive each way. Nuevo Arenal was really noisy with dirt bikes and cars driving through. City has little to offer as far as food and entertainment.

    The town is beautiful and located in a beautiful lush area. There are cute little restaurants and sodas. The locals were very friendly. My only complaint would be that the restaurants and stores etc close too early. It was hard finding something to eat/drink later in the evening
