It is a beautiful place to see. I love old towns, and this one was just amazing - no damage during WW2, so perfect. A lot of historical places dated back to 13-14th century or earlier. Nice for everything - sightseeing - castles, palaces, gardens, churches; night out - plenty of cool places to eat and party all night. I liked the walking tours organized by diffrent companies. We really enjoyed being in the historic square. The train station was pretty convenient and it was also where we rented the car. Our only problem was finding a gas station to refill the car before we returned it! Google didn't help us at all!! The city is beautiful, clean and safe.
The city is beautiful, clean and safe. We explored by walking everywhere and enjoyed day trips out of the city. Not crazy about the meat and dumpling cuisine, but the food was affordable and well prepared. We took full advantage of the arts buy going to museums, concerts and an English speaking play.
