The front desk staff were all very kind and welcoming (sorry I forgot to take their names, but we were greeted by a lady when we arrived and interacted with a gentleman during the day). Our train to Prague got terribly delayed, so we arrived at the hotel past midnight, but the lady very kindly and promptly helped us with check-in. The gentleman next day very kindly helped us with reserving tickets for a concert at the Rudolfinum, giving us very detailed info on picking up the tickets. I'd be remiss if I don't mention that the breakfast is excellent - the two ladies cooked us very tasty omelettes sprinkled with chives, and there's a wide selection of cheeses, fresh fruits, breads, and pastries every day. Prague is a fun place to visit and has many things to do. HC Sparta Praha plays hockey at the O2 Arena and the Czech Hockey Hall of Fame, just a couple blocks from Wenceslaus Square area, is a fun place to visit. Ex NHL veteran players Martin Rucinsky and Peter Nedved own a restaurant called Stridacka near the Old Town Square. The menu will have something for everyone and was good. There is a restaurant in Wenceslaus Square the serves your food and beer via a model train track. It's called Vytopna Railway Restaurant. Kids will love it and adults too. Everywhere you look is history staring back at you. The architecture is amazing. Always look up at the buildings because you will see all sorts of interesting things. Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Astronomical Clock, Zizkov Tower (with baby's statues), Kampa Park (with Baby's statues), Franz Kafka rotating head are a few places to visit.Guest review byRichardUnited States - 10.0
Get yourself staying in the heart of the old town,then...
Get yourself staying in the heart of the old town,then everything is within walking distance. Some great Irish bars and many eateries and street food.
