The staff was great, and the breakfast was wonderful. I slept well. The scenery close to the hotel is beautiful. The train station could be reached by walking. The skyline of old Stade is magnificent with some house boats on the water in front.

Stayed in a single room with Fleth view. Largest single room I ever stayed, staff were superwelcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed their breakfast. Great location in very pretty surroundings

Great location in the centre of town. Very comfortable bed. Lovely room and bathroom - spacious and clean. We had our dog with us and the hotel provided dog treats, a tin of dog food, dog bowls and a dog blanket in the room - made our dog feel very welcome! Breakfast was superb - lots of choice and very good food. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Lovely hotel. Rooms were nice, as was the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Having a little tea area and mini-bar items in the hallway is also a very nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay here.

    Staff / direction very friendly and welcoming. Helped carrying luggage to room (2 stairs), we have not seen such kind service for a very long time. Got a dinner table although we did not reserve. Excellent dinner, friendly service, Breakfast also very good. Location is excellent, very quiet. We'll be back !

    Stade it my favorite town in Germany. Very beautiful with a rich history (the Danish, the Swedes, Napoleon, Kingdom Hannover, Prussia, etc. Arp Schnittger organs), picturesque, calm, and close to the fruit-growing area of the Altes Land.

    Buxtehude is one of my favourite towns in Germany.

    Buxtehude is one of my favourite towns in Germany. It has a good range of shops including a lovely department store. There are some great restaurants and coffee shops. The Christmas markets are lively with a great atmosphere. The only downside I found this year was that the market has become more food and drink with none of the little nik-nak stalls for getting something as a keepsake or a quality German tree decoration. However I understand that this may no longer be viable for the stall holders. It would not put me off going back.

    Bit of a sleeper town. There is a very cozy square. Super tacky food and really bad cocktails most places unfortunately Tried to find an establishment with a bit higher standards with no luck. If you stick with beer it will be ok.

    Friendly night staff warmly welcomed us even after we arrived late due to roadworks on our route. Clean rooms, Good bed and Fresh and adequate breakfast set us on our way. I would stay here again for sure
