Everything exceeded the expectations, especially considering the price. The breakfast was superb, especially that you can have it indoors our at the tables outdoor, within the facility. The hotel is beautifully appointed, the staff are all friendly and extremely professional and attentive. Bed was incredibly comfortable, dinner was excellent, and the breakfast buffet incredible! We were delighted to meet the owner/manager Dr Caroline von Kretschmann and be able to listen to her philosophy and history of the hotel. What a personal touch! The attention to detail was amazing - every room a fresh flower, hallways with fresh flowers. Beautiful antiques mixed with modern comforts. And I loved that they had a cute little rubber duckie in the bathroom 😃

Having lived here for a few years I have always loved Stuttgart. There are so many things to see and do. They always seem to have an event going on somewhere. My absolute favorite thing is the public transportation you can take to anywhere. I love riding it and being able to see everything. I used to ride it just because it was so fun and I wanted to see if I could ride it to every station :-) I love the food too. Schwabian food is so yummy from flammkuchen to maultaschen there is something for everyone. I could live in Stuttgart and be a tour guide.

Definitely worth walking up to the castle and viewing from across the river too. Great autumnal colours! Should be aware that there is not a lot of parking in Heidelberg - this was a good time of year to visit as not too busy.

Definitely recommend to take the tram for sightseeing. The tram tickets are easily obtainable at the vendor machines at almost every Haltestelle for everyone’s convenience. Hop on and hop off as you please, there is plenty to see. To me, the central city cobblestone streets with the tram passing through reminded me of Bulgarian capital city of Sofia very much. Worth a visit!

The experience of visiting Karsluhe during X mas time is magical. Make sure check out all X mas markets, including Children's market where the characters of fairy tales come "alive". The main town square is a huge X mas town. I would advise to see the market during daytime and evening when the lights make everything so beautiful. There were different festive areas in the city, including big skating ring, with lots of lights. Make sure check city's website about X mas markets.

A fantastic place full of cultural gems (museums, a theatre and a concert hall), great shopping opportunities, amazingly beautiful and accessible nature, and the relaxing sound of a brook. The Leonardo hotel is an excellent place to stay in walking distance to everything and a superb restaurant. Anna’s patisserie is highly reccommended as well as the Frieder Burda museum.

Not clean. Too expensive for what offers. Receptionists are kind Room not in line with offer. I stayed in Dorint Fontana and thought this would be new and better experience but it was so dirty and expensive.

Plenty of Oriental food outlets also hairdressers and men's barbers....only one Italian restaurant to be found. Lots of Chinese restaurants couldn't find traditional German restaurants. Which was a shame.

The town has everything for a weekend stay.

The town has everything for a weekend stay. A good selection of shops, restaurants and coffee places. The market square has seats for relaxing and watching the world go by. The palace and gardens are a real gem. There are tours of the building and the gardens offer a chance to relax in a scented environment

Yes, I would stay here again.

Yes, I would stay here again. Primary was the location to the airport for a morning flight the next day. Having a shuttle was important to get to the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful, The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and varied in the morning. We did not find a restaurant within walking distance, but there were many restaurants that would deliver. This was a Sunday night.

Charming small town close to Stuttgart and a plus for wine lovers! We visited the Kessler wine cellar and Einhorn restaurant (wine cellar) which were excellent. If you are looking for a place to stay while attending the Cannstatter Volksfest or Spring festival at the Wassen then this town has excellent advantages as well. The train station is one exit removed from the Wassen station next to the festival grounds.
