The price!!!! We had Room One directly above the Reception and to be honest I can describe it as an Apartment. We were only staying one night but did so in luxury. A massive bathroom with separate bath and shower room. The in room coffee machine was a nice bonus.

Great location (near the main train station and central Bielefeld). The serviced apartments were very modern; there is everything one needs (kitchen area including kettle, pots, cutlery etc). Wifi was good and check-in/out was easy. (I particularly liked the modern and welcoming feel to it; e.g. slogans, memes etc.) Good size; great bathroom.

    This hotel / café / restaurant is a little gem to which I / we will certainly come back. The location is just awesome, with a fantastic garden in which some chickens and rabbits ander freely. In the back there are horses. You can sit in the sun or in the shade and have a drink or even your complete dinner (as we did). It's very relaxing. Inside the building it's just fantastic with many authentic details, it all has a very welcoming and cosy atmosphere. Dinner at night was just great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The next morning we were served a very nice breakfast - yes served, we did not have to get anything ourselves - what a luxury. I will definitely come back here, maybe even spend a few nights, just romatically together with my wife. I highly recommend this place !

    The location is beautiful. The hotel staff is really nice and helpful. The food at the restaurant is excellent and very varied. Great wines too! The beds are super comfortable and the positions of the beds can be adjusted which is a huge plus. The room has a nice selection of fruits and chocolate.     The small town of Bad Salzuflen offers a lot. Beautiful old houses and a nice city center invite to stay. Also, there are plenty of good restaurants. We have used our stay in Bad Salzuflen to visit and hike in the Teutoburger Wald, which has many sightseeing opportunities.

    Lovely small town with lots of hiking trails around it. You can see everything that Detmold itself has to offer in jut a day or two, but then you can spend as much as you want exploring the beautiful Teutoburg Forest.

    Herford is my hometown so I am biased.

    Herford is my hometown so I am biased. I love returns to home as so much to do.The MARTa museum is brilliant. Wonderful surroundings for walking and mountain biking. Good places to eat out. Recommend Kupferherz and La Taverna. Shopping is a bit limited but Bielefeld near by. Cafe Kleine for breakfast. Give it a try! The churches are well worth checking out too. So serene and beautiful - and I am not a Christian.

My partner and I both had a sore back from the mattrass and the pillows are so thin you need to ask for a second pillow! * For German standards the breakfast is simple * When checking in the lady from the reception did not speak English and when we left no questions asked like how was your stay. Just sign-off and be on your way. * The swimmingpool is very small...maybe only ok for little children. * Interiour hotel and room outdated/old fashioned

    A possibly unique spa town with great amenities including excellent cafes and restaurants, set at the foot of the Teutoburger Wald. Particular highlights for me were: the 50 m open air swimming pool (heated to 25 C) at 3 euros per day (with the visitor guest card); the vast network of tracks through lovely forest, with lots of options for both walking and cycling.
